Remember when you are brainstorming, your location can play a huge factor in the quantity and quality of your ideas. One of the most important brainstorming techniques that you can employ is to choose a distraction free location. Stear clear of the TV, the radio, possibly even the computer, unless you need to that to enter your ideas. All of these can cause huge distractions for you. Instead, try to inspire ideas by finding a quiet, tranquil, beautiful location. If it is possible, get out of the office and go outside to hold your meeting. Go to the public library, or go to a private conference room in a different building than your own. A change in environment can really help to stimulate great ideas for your group.
