When you are trying to negotiate and finalize a deal, the contracts process is very important. Both parties need to understand the terms and conditions that will bind the nature of the business dealings. I discovered this recently when I discuss a proposal with an associate and conducted proceedings verbally. I later found out that getting everything setup in writing is a better way to go. That way, if there is any confusion, the document can be referred to for interpretation and clarification.
