Very few countries could boast the diversity in cultures and people that the Philippines has. People In The Philippines are mostly Malay but have genetic and cultural contributions from European, Chinese, Arab, Indian, and American peoples as well. As a result, many Filipinos look like no other people on earth and it can be very difficult to distinguish one’s roots by just a casual glance alone. Most Filipinos are Roman Catholics with significant numbers of Protestants and Muslims in the population, and most other religions represented to some degree.
