Random Thoughts lead to Seismic Data Acquisition

My friends and I were sitting around talking about random topics, when one of my friends bust out with the earth is very complex. It is very similar to an onion, with its many different layers. We all just looked at her like she had completely lost her mind. She was referring to the different layers of the earth’s core. She has been doing a research paper on seismic data acquisition and has become interested in the earths core. She just finds it fascinating that the movement of the earth in certain directions will cause an earthquake or a tsunami.
