Rewardiing Good Employees
‘Thank you’ notes and ‘Employee of the year’ awards are no longer enough for contemporary workers, as stress and responsibilities are overwhelming and work capacity and effort acknowledgement has to be somewhat more tangible than the ‘verba volant’ type. Employee attendance can be rewarded with free-day certificates, high performance with end-of-semester bonus, loyalty with birthday gifts, target accomplishment with event attendance tickets, every little item can become extremely important as long as you develop active employee incentive programs. Good employees should maintain their motivation, and this usually requires a certain amount of exterior stimulation - incentive programs preserve employees’ interest, earnest and dedication.
