The malware threat
Thursday, September 4th, 2008Malware authors bragging about “guaranteed undetected” Trojans is not news; it has been happening since developing Trojans was first motivated by money. The Trojan authors test their creations using freely available AV scanners, and if it’s undetected at that time, it qualifies as “undetected”, however it doesn’t mean that they will always remain detected. Malware and viruses receive the all-too-usual mix of advice and inaccuracies, where policy is supposed to be the topic of the day, but is now concerned with matters of operations.
