Choosing The Right POS Software

My wife is finally opening her own hair salon. This has been a dream of hers for as long as I can remember. She has worked for a well know salon near our home for over ten years and has built up a large clientele. We found a building that needed a lot of work, but the price was incredibly low. My son and I have done all of the work and she will be able to open next month. We have been trying to decide on how we will accept credit cards, with POS software, or with a stand alone terminal. I am pretty sure we will go with the POS solution since it can track the inventory and manage the cash drawer as well.
