Satellite tv service; what it does
The LNB amplifies and strengthens the satellite tv service, and converts it into something that your satellite receiver can "read". From there it’s sent to your television set.
As this method of receiving television signals grows in popularity, new satellite TV dishes are coming to market, and some of them may transform how we watch television. One new dish can handle up to sixteen different satellite positions, and others that pick up signals from Ka band satellites offer better reception at a lower cost.
Satellite dishes have experienced a revolution in design and usage, but it’s safe to say that the revolution isn’t over yet. In the next ten to twenty years we’re likely to see even greater changes and options available.
