One study concerning the health care industry conducted by the U.S. goverment has come up with some fairly frightening facts. It concerned the growing number of nursing vacancies in the country. This study looked at both today and long range. Although RN's are one of the largest in number in the health care industry they are still in short supply. And by 2020 the country will be short by almost 3,000,000. And there are just not enough people entering the industry to make up the difference. This is frightening indeed.
