Choosing the gender of a baby has been studied for hundreds if not thousands of years by various cultures. The Chinese have a calendar that can tell you by the age of the mother and month of conception what gender you will have with some accuracy. No method except those used with IVF are 100% accurate for everyone. Some natural methods work for some people, and some of the more high tech methods work for others. Many couples who have had only one gender two or three times choose to try alternative methods of conception in order to have a better chance of having a different gender. This is called Gender Selection methods.
