Discharge
One of the Chapter 7 bankruptcy laws has to do with discharge. Discharge is where debtors are released from liability for most of their debts. Under discharge, creditors are unable to collect on debts they are owed. Though there are certain conditions under chapter 7 bankruptcy laws, a robust 99% of cases see a discharge filed (not including dismissed cases). However, if the debtor falsifies information or keeps inadequate books, perjures, destroys property unlawfully, or doesn’t finish a required financial management course, discharge may be denied.
