Goldman Sachs, Adam Storch, and the SEC, is there no end to the gall and travesty?

The Stench of Truth 232 I want an investigation into Goldman Sachs and a renewed call to remove Geithner and prevention of Storch from taking the position at the SEC, in enforcement no less! Text of letter to congressman/senator follows: October 16, 2009 Dear Senator Specter: I was dumbfounded to see in the news today that a Goldman Sachs executive, Adam Storch (VP of Goldman Sachs Business Intelligence Group) was named by the SEC as the Chief Operating Officer for enforcement. This is a complete TRAVESTY. Is it not bad enough that former Goldman Sachs employees have been so firmly entrenched in the Obama administration that there is no difference between government economic policy and Goldman Sachs policy? Here is a list of people with ties to Goldman Sachs: Bob Hormats Under Secretary of State for Economic, Energy,… Diana Farrell Deputy director of Obama’s National Economic… Faryar Shirzad Global Head of Government Affairs at Goldman… Gary D Cohn Gary Gensler ex-Goldman Sachs executive, Chairman of Commodity… James A Johnson Vice Chair of Perseus and Goldman director;… James C Langdon Jr Senior Executive Partner at Akin Gump and Bush… Jason Furman Obama Campaign Economic Policy Director John Whitehead Banker and public official (ex-Goldman Sachs) Jose Fourquet Investor, Goldman Sachs & Co. Karthik Ramanathan Acting Assistant Secretary for Financial Markets Larry Summers Obama Administration - Director of the National… Mark Patterson Chief of Staff to Tim

How about that SEC investigation? Goldman Sachs share value took a hit already. So your government seems to be doing something. Isn’t that a good sign?

    2. oceansdoor Says:

This video hits the nail on the head. But, sad to say…..our own government is in BED with GS, so the hopeful investigation may take place, but it wont be an in depth, full blown, down to the nitty gritty investigation. It will just be enough to apease the A. people just barely and then it will get lost in the shuffle of things, like they always do….

      In other words….the A. people are f*cked, as always…

    3. doctorofghetto Says:

LOL…..Recently, I called out an economic PHD student who is friends of Goldman Sachs, Jp Morgan, and Wells Fargo and others about this matter Tenebroust is speaking on:

    5. FogHat999 Says:

Props from Toronto, dude!…while we’re at it let’s get these GS alumni out of the Bank of Canada too!

    6. tenebroust Says:

Well those are starters. It would also be helpful to agitate for the removal of all the “former” Goldman and Wall Street bankers from positions of authority in the administration.

    9. KingOfWhiteTrash1 Says:

The USA is deep into a conversion to feudalism. Where our oddly weak government (”odd” considering how much it costs) is held in thrall to moneychangers, and the populous at large has been reduced to the status of serfs. I’m glad to see the occasional angry man take exception to this conversion, but am a little saddened that the angry men are so few and far between.

    10. tenebroust Says:

Goldman is the public face of the rich Wall Street banker that raped the people for their own enrichment. But my diatribe, while directed at Goldman is also tangentially directed at JP Morgan and Citi and all the rest as well.

    11. billyelliot1975 Says:

So JP Morgan and Goldman both have ex-employees running the systen, have a look through their CV’s, most of them have banking backgrounds and need to so they understand the system. And JP Morgan received 250% more than Goldman from the bailout…but populist opinion is to bash Goldman. Goldman to be fair should never have accepted the bailout money, they paid it all back in about 6 months ($10bn) as they didn’t even need it, then no-one would be able to whine.

    12. tenebroust Says:

What about JP Morgan? They don’t have “ex” employees in charge of the entire financial structure in the US it is Goldman Sachs. That doesn’t mean they aren’t solidly evil and in on it. The Bush legacy you say. I’ve been talking about it nonstop. Maybe you should know what you’re talking about before you comment.

    13. billyelliot1975 Says:

What about JP Morgan dipshit? When you know what you are talking about, then make a comment. Bush’s legacy mate, start there!

    17. starfax58 Says:

indeed! you seem displeased! Poor Adam, ease up, he’s only 12. He’ll learn; given some margin. Now as far as investigating, who is to investigate whom? I mean Sachs is the government and has been for some time now. Maybe we should get grant and study this dilemma at the Big U (Harvard) ooops! that is where they groom the future of Goldman’s ah, I’ll tell ya what, My money is on you. Go for it. I’ll be the mess cook.

    18. moob744 Says:

    23. codeman1979 Says:

To put Adam Storch as the enforcer of the SEC is like asking a pedophile to be a school teacher. Unfortunately most people in this country think the SEC is just a football conference in the BCS.

    24. RobinDropping Says:

What’s your fucking problem asshole ? You have nothing of worth to contribute other than proving yourself to be a jackass . You’re a typical Youtube wanker with a blank channel , fuck off Shamus5555.
