Gore Denies that Ken Lay, Goldman Sachs CEOs Helped Develop C02 Trading ‘Scheme’

After insisting once again that there is a consensus on Man-made Global Warming (while paradoxically comparing those not in consensus with those who deny the moon landing), Al Gore denies, downplays and refuses to discuss the role that CEOs played in crafting his Cap-and-Trade C02 trading schemes. Rep. Scalise points out that Gore met with Ken Lay, of ENRON-fraud fame circa 1998, as well as top members of Goldman Sachs– all of which Al Gore obscures and denies. In point of fact, Al Gore’s founding partner in the sustainability-investment firm Generation Investment Management, LLC is none other than David Blood, CEO of Goldman Sachs’ asset-management division until 2003. Gore-Blood founding their Carbon-trading Corp. in 2004. www.generationim.com Although Gore refuses to address the issue, Rep. Scalise makes a direct point in the fact that many of the people and associated firms that caused our current and widespread economic crisis were involved in developing this and other related proposals. How then, could such people be trusted? Gore’s only response is to question whether Scalise means to consider him ‘guilty by association.’

Gore brazenly lied to Louisiana Rep Steve Scalise when the Congressman asked him about his ties to Goldman Sachs After claiming that there is a consensus on the science of global warming (a lie in itself) Gore flatly stated that he wishes he did, but he doesn’t have financial interests with Goldman Sachs April 27 issue of Fortune magazine reports that 6 months after Gore became a partner in Kleiner Perkins,Kleiner Perkins joined Goldman Sachs in financing Terralliance an oil exploration firm!

Al Gore: Pied Piper for the Carbon Credit Crusade

Al Gore brings emotional fervor to his carbon crusade He travels the country displaying charts&graphs quoting scientific experts& appealing to philosophers&religious leaders to save the planet from global warming But he says nothing about his business partners who yearn to trade on the emerging carbon market And the media pay no attention to the companies offering carbon advisory services that will profit from federal carbon emission controls

    4. Thisawareness Says:

      Gore a partner in Kleiner-Perkins

Former Vice President Al Gore is a partner in Silicon Valley powerhouse Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, boosting the firm’s position as a clean tech investor

Under the deal, Generation Investment Management, the investment firm co-founded by Mr. Gore with former Goldman Sachs executive David Blood in 2004, will work closely with Kleiner Perkins.

It’s a good thing he can’t lie well. Shows he still has a conscious.

    7. newbutton7 Says:

Al Gore can’t even lie right. He gets caught in a lie and you can tell right away

We waste far too much energy, a good example is the vacuum cleaner.
Air Recycling Technology if used in Vacuum Cleaners could actually save each year in the UK, an amount of energy equal to that generated by 800 Medium sized wind generators.
That is 1.5 TWh of electricity worth £225,000,000 and 650,000 Tonnes of CO2, Emissions. And a saving of more than 25 Twh of electricity annually is possible in the EU. Equal to £3.25 billion pounds and 13.5 million tonnes of CO2.Emissions.

Do you have to support the government system, vote, pay taxes? What would happen if enough Australians decided not to? Might you gain more freedom and justice?

Do your politicians tell the truth to the people they’re supposedly serving? If not, why fund their ongoing dishonesty?

Do you fear the consequences of standing up for yourself?

I suggest the solution is to decide you’re going to take responsibility; be your own voice; and stop enabling official criminality. Personal sovereignty!

It’s not just a scary thought - it’s a reality. I am yet to see our Australian Government do anything right in the entire time I’ve been interested in politics - both liberal and labor.

    11. nickopen Says:

      How many americans vote?

I’m australian and we all vote because that’s our government system.

Isn’t it scary to think we put so much trust in politicians to lead us in the right direction. Thy’re making decisions for us, being our voice, what if they’re so wrong and we’re the one’s who pay for it.

      It’s a scary thought.

    12. TiredOldFart Says:

It is worse than that. They have engineered a financial catastrophe for Americans. With supply side capped and the cap artificially ratched down through time, the inelastic supply side will cause prices to rise parabolically. They have set the schedule to explode after the next election.

Al Gore is Chairman of Generation Investment LTD. He stands to profit from cap and trade and that is why he pushes it. Generation Investment’s board includes ex-Goldman Sachs speculators.

    16. LawyerScumGhost Says:

Gore and some scum sucking former Goldman Sachs pricks have already prepared a company to trade in the “carbon credits” market. They will get rich at our expense, which is how the American “free economy” system works now.

    17. 6Do6llar6 Says:

Al Gore needs to follow MJ

    18. cooljj82 Says:

Gore is normally really slick, he just got OWNED though. Nice job Scalise!

    19. tommytimezzz69 Says:

I used to believe that global warming was man made… then I started looking into the science behind the claims. I was shocked to find that Al Gore is a liar.
