Orange County is seriously expensive.
San Francisco is still pricey.

Look on Craig's List for rentals, and sales in the area you are considering.
Assume that after the move, you might not get any raises or bonuses...then figure out if you can afford it.

		<description>It depends on if the job is the only reason for moving.  If you would like to be there and the job is steady, I would say go for it.  If the job is the primary motivation, then it may be better to get a job in an area with a stronger job market.</description>
