Is Goldman responsible for Greek crisis?

Posted by admin
RussiaToday asked:

Goldman Sachs tricky derivatives trades may have masked the Greek debt just long enough to hurt all of us again. Goldman Sachs made up an exchange rate that allowed the Greeks to look as though they were only engaging in a currency swap when, in effect, they were getting more than a billion more than they should have from the trades in credit. Its likely that Goldman made a killing on the commissions for the swaps, and then sold the swaps to a Greek bank for even higher profits.

      @Apokorwnioths1984 On this we agree.

I agree with what you say. The politicians in Greece were worst in EU at playing the EU game. Others are good at this.

However, (as always) ordinary people always end up paying for the politician/big business fuck ups.

In this case it is costing ‘ordinary peoples’ in the EU billions of euros for Greek ‘fuck up’. Rather than strike, maybe you hang your politicians in public.

That would be a good example for others.

    2. Apokorwnioths1984 Says:

We couldn’t care less about EU and whether we ll remain in, since it’s been revealt the fact we get no actual benefit from it. The EU aids are either entering politicians pockets or a big part is going straight back to Germany and France spent for military equipment bought from them, which is by far the highest expenditure of Greek state.

So i agree, we shouldn’t be in this union, we aren’t worthy enough to be in the side of incorrupt superpowers like Bulgaria, Romania, Italy , Portugal etc

    3. bacaca88 Says:

BTW, Gordon Brown (PM, ex Chancellor of the Exchequer and ’supposed’ ‘Mr Know it all Financial Expert’) has just launched an investigation into Goldman’s dealings in the UK economy.

It seems like Goldman is going to slapped hard and brought down a bit. But, Goldman is just the tip of the iceberg.

I find it hard to believe that this has not been going on for years with politicians profiting from the same - via business which ‘runs’ politicians for their benefit.

    4. bacaca88 Says:

@Apokorwnioths1984 I don’t feel sorry for anyone. You brought this on yourselves.

Regarding the UK, then people are stupid there and highly manipulated into taking stupid credit over and above what they can afford to repay.

      People are greedy.

Looking forward to watching people be reduced to ‘third World’ level as China takes their place.

    5. bacaca88 Says:

@Apokorwnioths1984 It is exactly because of the situation that you describe why Greece should not be in the European Union.

You are not responsible enough - in Government or as people.

BTW, I agree also that many countries are also in a mess - including the UK.

      But, Greece is the worst.

    6. Apokorwnioths1984 Says:

@bacaca88 Nobody asked from you to feel sorry of us, because we don’t need it, you should feel sorry of own your ass being frauded by GS which has stolen billions of pounds of your taxes as a rescue package to RBS, money which vaporised thanks to the Jewish bank you accuse us of being owned, what a tragic irony!!

Enjoy now your status as a “honest and proud tax-payer” aka a sucker whose tax-money were stolen by frauds of GS. Also enjoy your 12,6% deficit.

    7. Apokorwnioths1984 Says:

@bacaca88 What exactly do WE get (and makes you happy) that YOU don’t get? Comprehend something simple, STATE is bankrupt (public sector), which employs just 16% of total Greek workforce, not all of us. We are doing fine having a GDP per capita near to yours (without even the “black” money included), and surely, our politicians are shitty and corrupt, that’s why many of us make lots of “black” money because at least we know our politicians and we don’t trust them. We aren’t suckers like you

    8. bacaca88 Says:

To your 100% corrupt and shit Greek politicians and to 40% corrupt and shit Greek population, I say that you deserve everything that you get.

To the 60% ‘innocent’ Greek people who acted like pussies, then you deserve what your politicians and 40% of your population did to you. Bet you have a sore ass right now.

    9. bacaca88 Says:

@ttiger5050 Who cares? This is the truth. Now Goldman is being prosecuted by the SEC for it’s fraudulent dealings.

This is Jewish bank and Greek Government should have used better judgement. They showed themselves to be greedy and stupid and no match for Goldman.

Greece is bankrupt due to nepotism/politicians putting their interest over peoples and has higher proportion of corruption and lawlessness compared to other EU Nations - making it the worst in EU.

      Hope Greece sinks.

    10. bacaca88 Says:

@Apokorwnioths1984 Not every country in EU has 40%+ ‘black market’ like Greeks.

You are engineers of you failure and are bringing EU to it knees c/o Goldman Sachs and banks which now own your ‘once great’ country.

    11. ttiger5050 Says:

Among the equity holders of the Jewish investment banking and trading firms on Wall Street are hundreds of Jewish millionaires. Upward mobility based on merit and high salaries has made working on Wall Street a Jewish-friendly career choice … Although exact figures for the numbers of Jews are not available, they no doubt have a leading and disproportionate role on Wall Street.” [SILBIGER, S., 2000, p. 78-80. But if you state these FACTS publicly, you will undoubtedly be branded ANTI SEMITE!?

    12. theoAEL Says:

I m not surprised that Greece is attacked once more. This happened just before the 2004 Olympics too. People are stealing our history. All our neighbour countries are dreaming of stealing our lands. Greece is the motherland of democracy and a death of this country would be a glorius victory for those who support the NEW WORLD ORDER. Portugal has big problems too but always my country is the victim.

    13. Apokorwnioths1984 Says:

@joakimveyron What do you suggest genius? ALL the planet to have heavy industry and everybody to produce cars, aircrafts, machine guns etc? Who would have demand on those products if EVERYBODY produced them?

Who depends on who more? Obviously someone has to buy the things you produce, otherwise your production would be useless, and your ass would be jobless without non-industrialized countries which produce food products which you disregard.

    14. Apokorwnioths1984 Says:

We sleep during our work? If you say so, since you have came to Greece and witnessed yourself the QUALITY of work in the private companies! The businessmen who aim to gain profit pay people to sleep, that’s very interesting and rational!

Maybe it’s difficult to comprehend something, Greek state (which is also corrupt) is bankrupt which is public sector, NOT us. Most Greek people are fine and get decent salaries for their work (we have GDP per capita near to yours), so you can eat your heart out

    15. Apokorwnioths1984 Says:

@joakimveyron Who told you public sector is so big? Telephone services, electricity, airports etc all have been sold to private companies, where the fuck did you see socialism??

Yes sure, “stuff which made our life civilized” the ones we import from France, military equipment which is by far the highest expenditure of Greek government!! My life became much more civilized , i realy own you….I am also touched, you are right, we would be cleaning toilets if we didn’t have this “needful” stuff

    16. Apokorwnioths1984 Says:

@joakimveyron That’s bullshit. This money are mostly loans with interest rates, and they are going to the government. What do i , or the average Greek who DOES NOT work for the government cares? Do i get any cent of this money? Do this money even indirectly offer anything to me? Of course not, they are going straightly back to Germany , Italy and France. Greeks (non-public workers = majority) would still be fine like they were before EU, so we basically don’t give a damn about what you say

    17. joakimveyron Says:

@Apokorwnioths1984 Of course, you guys in Greece have to import more than what you export. You see, there are not so many people who eat olives and nothing else that is useful is produced in Greece. So, you have to import most of the stuff that makes a civilized life. So tell me you depends more on who? If it weren’t for the Greek bitches on your beaches, your country would be absolutely useless.

    18. joakimveyron Says:

@Apokorwnioths1984 I don;t care for the exact number of people working in the public sector in your shitty country. The gov spending spiralled out of control. That’s the fact. And that’s what’s called socialism, if the public sector/government has a too big word in everything. And regarding the annual working hours per year, of course, you fcukers have to work longer, because you both sleep at work half of the time. The other half you are inefficient as a bag of flour.

    19. joakimveyron Says:

@Apokorwnioths1984 Just out of curiosity, what does GReece have to export to France or GErmany? Can’t be only olives? Or do we have some textile products produced in Greece? You fuckers in Greece receive EUR 40 bn. p.a. This is EUR 5000 (!!!) per capita. If it weren’t for that money, Greeks would be cleanning toilets or weeping the floor. that’s what they are good for.

    20. Apokorwnioths1984 Says:

@joaquinveyron Socialism in Greece? 1/3 works for the government? Lazy? What the fuck are you talking about without having ANY clue. You could at least inform yourself that Greece has nothing to do with socialism, the actual percentage of public employees is 16% (far less than 1/3) , and as for laziness according to official OECD stats Greek workforce has the 2nd most annual work hours amongst OECD countries after Koreans. Get a clue and then speak

    21. Apokorwnioths1984 Says:

@joaquinveyron Maybe THEY (EU which lets Greece in and has planned bailout), in contrast to you the ordinary NOONE of youtube, take into account things you completely neglect and ignore (e.g 25% of Greek money spent for imports go straightly to Germany and France), that’s why Greece is in EU and will keep itself in as long as EU exists. I doubt though EU will last that much itself.

    22. Apokorwnioths1984 Says:

    23. Apokorwnioths1984 Says:

@bacaca88 Ordinary Greek people have nothing to be ashamed of. About the rest in EU that sounds as an excuse, “Greece holds everyone back”. Yeah right, Greece is responsible for 12,6% deficit of UK.

If you are so proud for your origin where there is no corruption and everything is so great why don’t you reveal it to us, to take you as an example and improve ourselves? Maybe because you are the one who is ashamed of your shithole and you think by dissing others your life is gonna be better

    24. bacaca88 Says:

      @TeslaGenius Really, I don’t give a flying fuck.

    25. TeslaGenius Says:

      @bacaca88
      I’m not Greek you retard!
Don’t talk to me you teenage prick, go find yourself some video games intellectual like yourself !
      Don’t waist my time!
