Yeah is it hard getting a job at Goldman Sachs?..I’m a high school student right now…Imma B/C student and plan on going to college and majoring in business finance when I graduate…I’m not the most smartest person but I’m willing to work hard…I’ve always had a dream of going to New York and working at Goldman Sachs in their private equity arm to make a boatload of money because I’ve always wanted to do something big in my life and help my family…what would you advise me to do?

      Yes, getting a job at Goldman Sachs is quite competitive. You definitely need to be an A-student. I would suggest you take a lot of economics and math classes in college; those will be more useful than business/managerial type classes. Goldman Sachs looks for people with charisma, business sense, and strong math skills. The “lower ranked” your school, the closer to a 4.0 you need to have.

      Also, I don’t mean to be a jerk, but you need to work on your English skills some. “Their” vs “there”, “most smartest”. :)
