It doesn’t matter. Unless your Daddy works there or you go to any Ivy league school, you won’t get the job now. Wait until the fall when the chaos from recent college grads have a chance to settle down, then go in person to the HR dept.

You might be wasting your time going in person, they might just say submit your resume on line.
But it just might happen that they let you fill out an app, and maybe talk to somebody who might be impressed by you taking some initiative.
it is worth the trouble?? You decide.

Unfortunately going in person will not accomplish much since they’ll probably just tell you to go home and apply online anyway. If you have the skills and think you’re qualified, apply online and I’m sure you’ll at least get an interview. Once you you land a face-to-face meeting, that’s where you separate yourself from other candidates.

absolutely go in person if you can. I’m sure GS receives thousands of resumes per day. How many faces do they see, people do they meet? It’s a game of numbers.
