The Basics of Lap-Band Surgery

Posted by admin

Lap-Band surgery is a medical procedure designed to help a person to lose weight.  The anatomical makeup of the stomach is changed in a way to help you to reduce the amount of food you are able to intake.  Lapband surgery is approved by the FDA.  The lap band is a belt made from silicone that adjusts to fill around the upper stomach.  It causes the person to feel full so he won’t eat as much.  Naturally this results in weight reduction.  The Lap-Band is attached to a port through this port, the band can be inflated gradually in order to speed up the weight reduction.
