We have three Great Danes. They are very large dogs, so it is hard to bathe them in the tub. Aside from the fact that they are too large for the tub, bathing them indoors creates a very big mess. Dirt and dog hair have to be cleaned out of the tub and the drain. The whole process takes a lot of time and energy. It makes a lot more sense to bathe them outside, but the hose provides nothing but ice cold water. It’s okay to use the hose in the summer, but not in the remaining months of the year. My husband decided to install a point of use water heater outside, so we will be able to bathe the dogs outdoors year round.
