Jewish Food Traditions….What Could Be Better than Doughnuts?

Posted by admin

Sweets and Jewish traditions go hand in hand.  There are a huge variety of incredibly tasty Jewish treats that will make your mouth water.  Decades old tales of Jewish great-Grandmothers lovingly preparing Sufganiyot, or jelly filled hanukkah doughnuts or traditional Jewish favorite Potato Latkas given a sweet twist when sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar before it has cooled off from being in the frying pan.  Another delicious Jewish sweet treat is Mandelbread.  It is similar to biscotti, but has been around much longer than the Italian cookies your find in your local coffee shop!  Mandelbread is hard like biscotti, but is literally loaded, chock full with delicious toasted almonds.
